The Virtuoso Luminaries, Legends and Leaders Awards awarded Valentina De Santis the “Hotelier of the year 2022” award, rewarding the hospitality of the Grand Hotel Tremezzo on Lake Como

Valentina De Santis was elected “Best Hotelier of the Year” at the 34th edition of Virtuoso Travel Week 2022 in Las Vegas.
For over 50 years, Valentina and her family have been an integral part of the history of Lake Como, where they are the owners of the iconic Grand Hotel Tremezzo, to which Passalacqua, their latest project, was added last June.
This year, as every August, more than 4000 travel advisors and partners gathered at the Hotel Bellagio in Las Vegas following the motto ‘We believe in travel “. Of the 12 editions in which the prestigious ‘Hotelier of the Year’ award was awarded, a real Oscar in the world of luxury hospitality, this is the fifth time that an Italian hotelier has been awarded.
Involved for over 10 years in the family business, Valentina De Santis had already received the recognition of ‘Italian Hotelier of the Year’ last year, established for the first time in 2021 as a tribute to Patrizio Cipollini, historical General Manager of the Four Seasons of Florence.
