Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como confirms itself as one of Lake Como’s dream hotels and, from March 26th, it has reopened its doors to welcome guests with a new level of hospitality.

Many new features and experiences, all extraordinary and designed to enrich your stay with emotions. A new level of hospitality has been achieved in the resort, thanks to the collaboration with the renowned Milanese design studio Reveria, and an exclusive selection of new experiences that will allow guests to discover and experience the destination with authenticity.

Immersed in a lush botanical park on the eastern shore of Lake Como, the resort is spread over nine separate villas and offers a spa with indoor pool and six treatment cabins as well as a 40-metre-long floating infinity pool on the lake with a spacious deck where guests can relax from dawn to dusk.

Its location makes it ideal for both a relaxing holiday and a more dynamic break, thanks to the activities organized by the Sports & Adventure Team. This year Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como, offers new experiences to experience the destination with authenticity, in new, private locations accessible only to resort guests.

A selection of activities designed exclusively: from the discovery of traditional recipes explained directly by the inhabitants of Lake Como, to unique moments spent tasting biodynamic wines in the company of experts and always in contexts capable of offering wonderful and unusual lake views.

Guests looking for more dynamic activities can choose to benefit from the new partnership with award-winning fitness coaches, while, in line with Mandarin Oriental’s holistic approach to wellbeing, spaces and moments for nature meditation are available within the lush garden.

These authentic experiences will allow guests to immerse themselves in spring and savor firsthand the fascinating rhythms of lakeside life. As regards the living room spaces, the innovations concern the intervention of the Milanese design studio Reveria which wanted to re-propose the beauty of the nature that surrounds the resort in the interior spaces.

The choice of finishes and colors in fact recall the external panorama, the shades of the lake, the greens of the hills, the beiges of the houses that sit on the headlands creating the picturesque villages overlooking the lake.

The resort is also appreciated for its gastronomic offer which has become increasingly richer over the years: there are three active proposals: the L˜ARIA restaurant, where you can enjoy refined Italian cuisine with Japanese influences, with a breathtaking view of the lake; the CO.MO Bar & Bistrot, with its contemporary Italian menu, the inevitable pizza and a selection of signature drinks for the aperitif and after dinner; and the more recent NAMI Cafe, a healthy but delicious cuisine, with Asian-inspired dishes and an international touch to be enjoyed in a welcoming lakeside setting.

The Mandarin Oriental Spa & Wellness oasis is unmissable, which includes six treatment cabins, including two private Spa Suites, a Zen garden, a spa area overlooking the lake equipped with hydromassage, ice waterfall, bio saline sauna, emotional showers , Finnish sauna and Turkish bath.

The traditional wellness treatments by Mandarin Oriental, characterized by a holistic approach, are accompanied by rituals performed with vegan products based on biotechnological ingredients by Team Dr Joseph – a pioneering brand of natural cosmetics – and Swiss Perfection, with its facial skincare program that combines scientific innovation and cutting-edge skills.

The menu also includes signature treatments inspired by the lake and the benefits of water.

Constant respect for the environment and sustainability continue to be among the priorities of the resort which strongly supports the commitment of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
