It is almost a “multi-building or integrated hotel”, considering that the work carried out did not merely involve restyling the villa, but adding other constructions to it, which do not distort the context but actually enhance it. Services offered include a wedding planner, a consecrated chapel, vintage cars, and the scenic Belvedere area, which dominates the hills. This four-star superior is the perfect place for tying the knot – but also for fine dining. Its restaurant, Il Palazzo Gourmet, with 50 place settings spread over five halls, plus another 30 in the adjacent private area reserved for special occasions, proposes traditional fare from Bologna, exalted by a selection of local wines and the best Italian and international labels.
Finally, Palazzo di Varignana Resort & Spa is also the ideal spot for recharging your batteries. This is possible amid the hushed silence of the surroundings, in the fully-equipped gym covering 112 square metres, and above all in Verspa, its wellness centre. It is the only one in the territory and it has a highly professional staff. It covers an area of 1,800 square metres in total, and offers sensory tubs and showers, a bio-sauna, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, an ice cascade, underwater-music baths, Kneipp treatments, a water-jet pool, a Jacuzzi, an ample relaxation area, massage cabins, 3 spa suites for treatments for couples, and lots more besides.
