“Stars in Paradis” is the gourmet food festival held in Mauritius starting from January
7 chefs, bringing a total of 13 Michelin stars, and the Paradis and the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa,

Stellar dinners in Mauritius: from 2 January 2020, for 7 weeks, the gourmet festival “Stars in Paradis” organized by Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels will be held in Brusaporto, with the valued collaboration of the Da Vittorio restaurant, which has three Michelin stars.
Enrico and Roberto Cerea, Michelin-starred chefs, imagined an event that would combine one of the most enchanting locations in the world with the finest gastronomic culture at an international level.
From their dream, “Stars in Paradis” was born, created by Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels with the Cerea family, in collaboration with Alitalia, Alpitour World and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. It is an event that unfolds over 7 weeks, starting from 2 January 2020, during which the kitchens of the Paradis and the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa, two luxury 5-star hotels on the splendid Le Morne peninsula, will see 7 Michelin-starred Italian and French chefs alternating, creating a unique encounter between Italian, Mediterranean, French and Mauritian culinary traditions.
“Stars in Paradis” is the natural evolution of the attention that Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels has always paid to the quality, variety and service of the restaurants in all its resorts. The group, a hôtellerie pioneer in Mauritius for more than 65 years, boasts an unrivalled gastronomic offer, with attention lavished on every detail by local, international and multi-award-winning chefs. Top-level gourmet events in Mauritius, in France and in Italy, collaborations with chefs from all over the world, a training school with internships curated by Michelin-starred chefs, one of whose Executive Chefs – Mooroogun Coopen – is President of the Mauritius Chefs Association. During the food festival, Executive Chefs – Jean Christophe Basseau and Guillaume Bregeat – and the kitchen brigades of the Paradis and the Dinarobin Beachcomber will work in perfect synchrony with the award-winning chefs that will alternate over the 7 weeks.
