Villa d’Este invests in training

Villa d’Este

Villa d’Este has acquired the “Salesianum Don Bosco” real estate company in Como. It will transform it into a place of education, attraction and growth of young talents who want to work and specialize in the hospitality sector

Investing in human capital and the training of young talents. It is with these objectives that Villa d’Este S.p.A. of Cernobbio has acquired the real estate complex called “Salesianum Don Bosco” in the municipality of Como, Monte Olimpino.

Born as a training and refresher center for Salesians, it later expanded. As? Opening up to the outside and welcoming spirituality meetings, prayer experiences, without excluding conferences and congresses.

The Villa d’Este project is to undertake a major renovation of the spaces. The objective is to create accommodation available mostly to the Company’s employees, where they can carry out development and training activities in the hotel and restaurant business.

In fact, in a phase of growth and expansion, the Company understands the need to invest not only to improve the level of services but also to offer its workers increasingly better conditions that are up to the new demands of today’s job market.

Giuseppe Fontana, President of the Board of Directors of Villa d’Este S.p.A. expresses pride and satisfaction for this new investment in the area: “Our intention is to renovate the buildings and take care of the park to set up accommodation and common areas for our staff in an extremely comfortable environment.

Not only that, we would also like to set up spaces dedicated to the training of young people, where an ethical-professional path is followed in a protected growth environment made on a human scale which allows everyone to be valued first and foremost as a human being.

The structure should become a campus for employees, not with the sole purpose of welcoming them for work purposes, but with the idea of creating an environment of growth and professionalization. Conference rooms, training areas where an Academy can be developed and ad hoc courses for dining, cooking and housekeeping.

Furthermore, to take care of our employees even during their free time, we would like to use spaces and leisure and entertainment areas such as a cinema room, gym, multimedia/TV rooms and library: meeting spaces where they have the opportunity to get to know each other and rediscover themselves.

Our human capital is the most precious asset to be protected, and growing together is the most important responsibility”
