Gabriella Gentile is the new president of Federcongressi&eventi

Gabriella Gentile will lead the association of the Italian meeting industry for the next three years. During the annual convention, the members of the national association of companies in the congress and event industry have in fact renewed the positions of the President, the Directors, the Auditor and the Arbitrators

Gabriella Gentile is the new President of Federcongressi&eventi, the national association of companies in the congress and events industry.

She is an expert in destination marketing and destination management in the MICE field, after almost 20 years of career at the Palazzo dei Congressi in Bologna in 2001 she created the company Meeting Consultants.

Since 2006 you have been an adjunct professor at the Degree Course in Language, Society and Communication of the University of Bologna for the teaching of “Management of Cultural Events“.

Gentile’s commitment to meetings industry associations is relentless and also of international standing. In fact, since 2009 she has been the Head of the Learning Center of Federcongressi & eventi, an association in which she also held the position of Vice President. She have also been a member of the Board of Directors of the IAPCO-International Association of Professional Congress Organizers and of the Italian chapter of MPI-Meeting Professionals International, of which you have also held the position of President.

The new Board of Directors
The 4 Executive Directors (one for each category of members) for the three-year period 2022-2025:

Destinations and locations: Carlotta Ferrari (Destination Florence CVB)
Organization of congresses and events: Nicola Testai (OIC Group)
Services and consultancy: Luca Legnani (Papillon Milano 1990)
ECM Provider: Matteo Bruno Calveri (Summeet)

The remaining 4 members of the Board of Directors are elected without any representation constraint: Stefania De Toni (Fiera Padova-Padova Hall), Paola Padovani (Triumph International), Guido Petronici (PR Factory) and Gaia Santoro (AIM Group International).

Member of the Board by right is also Alessandra Albarelli as Past President. In the first meeting the new Board of Directors chaired by Gabriella Gentile will elect the Vice President from among its members. Auditor and Arbitrators Auditor is Daniela Senlis.

The new Board of Arbiters is made up of: Sandro Cuccu (Symposium), Pietro Piccinetti (Fiera Roma) and Mauro Zaniboni (MZ Events).
