VOIhotels in collaboration with Worldrise Onlus launches an experience that will lead young students to safeguard the incredible natural heritage of the Mediterranean
The superb VOIhotels facilities overlook the splendor of the Mediterranean sea. And it is precisely to preserve its beauty and richness that the hotel chain managed by the Alpitour Group in collaboration with Worldrise Onlus is launching a training course in the name of sustainability.
Sensitize customers of tourist facilities to environmental issues, create excursions capable of enhancing the naturalistic potential of the territory and, at the same time, support scientific research and encourage the professional development of students, various activities for a single goal: the protection of Marine environment.
The young people selected to participate in this experience will be hosted in some VOIhotels structures in Sicily and Sardinia. They will therefore have the opportunity to acquire skills in marine coastal monitoring, dedicating themselves to data collection for various research projects.
It is a non-profit organization that deals with the conservation and enhancement of the marine environment by developing projects that combine education, creativity and dissemination. The projects are created and carried out by young professionals, students and recent graduates, with particular attention to the active involvement of the new generations, future custodians of the Italian and world natural heritage.
