VOIhotels at the forefront of safeguarding the sea

VOIhotels in collaboration with Worldrise Onlus launches an experience that will lead young students to safeguard the incredible natural heritage of the Mediterranean

The superb VOIhotels facilities overlook the splendor of the Mediterranean sea. And it is precisely to preserve its beauty and richness that the hotel chain managed by the Alpitour Group in collaboration with Worldrise Onlus is launching a training course in the name of sustainability.

Sensitize customers of tourist facilities to environmental issues, create excursions capable of enhancing the naturalistic potential of the territory and, at the same time, support scientific research and encourage the professional development of students, various activities for a single goal: the protection of Marine environment.

The young people selected to participate in this experience will be hosted in some VOIhotels structures in Sicily and Sardinia. They will therefore have the opportunity to acquire skills in marine coastal monitoring, dedicating themselves to data collection for various research projects.

Four extraordinary locations that will touch on different thematic areas. Dolphin monitoring in Golfo Aranci (with a stay at the VOI Colonna Village facility), coastal marine monitoring in Villasimius (VOI Tanka Village), marine litter monitoring in the Bay of Tindari (VOI Baia di Tindari Resort) and monitoring of sea turtles in Syracuse (VOI Arenella Resort).

Italy: the best of VOIhotels

VOIhotels announces the gradual reopening of its leisure facilities from the end of May. A month earlier than last year and with a richer bouquet. The resort leisure are 9, located on the most beautiful coasts of Puglia, Calabria, Sardinia and Sicily. The openings will be progressive and will be concentrated between the end of May and the first days of June. The VOI Tropea Beach will be the last one, at the end of June, to allow the renovation works following the recent acquisition. At the same time, the 2 hotels in Taormina will also open, part of the luxury collection and much loved by top spending customers.
