Discovering the thermal baths, invented by the Romans and transformed today into a modern and complete wellness offer. ‘Mens sana in corpore sano‘, the Romans knew this well and for this reason they were lovers of the Baths. Veneto, also in this case, has the right requirements: it is the perfect destination.

The Terme Euganee area has very ancient origins and its sources of hot water still emerge vigorously from the ground.

The Euganean Baths are immersed in the greenery of the Euganean Hills, a regional park that gathers many municipalities in the district. They are among the largest and most famous in the world. L and spas are located a few kilometers from Padua and Venice.

The three most important centers of the Euganean Spas are Montegrotto Terme, Abano Terme and Galzignano Terme. For those who love to take care of their body, here are several thermal complexes. 9 UNESCO World Heritage

True beauty is contained in the many UNESCO sites of the region: Venice and its lagoon, the Prosecco hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the botanical garden of Padua and the Dolomites.

10 The Arena of Verona

A tribute to Opera and music lovers. It is universally recognized as the “city of love”, where one of William Shakespeare’s most famous works takes place: thousands of people visit the balcony from which, it is said, Juliet looked out every year.

Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, is however much more, thanks to its countless architectural works of art, one above all the majestic Arena, a unique setting in the world which, thanks to its magic and rich program of events, attracts a large audience from all over the world.

Walking through its streets you can breathe the magnificence of its history, admiring the splendid noble palaces, a reminder of the ancient glories.

11 The mountains 12 months a year

In Veneto, the mountains are lived all year round. Because the mountains are the perfect destination for every season.

Regenerating walks among the heights of the Venetian Pre-Alps, excursions to the peaks of the Dolomites, Unesco Heritage; or even whole days skiing in the immense Veneto ski area and then indulge in moments of pleasant relaxation at the end of the day.

12 Cities’ treasures

Venice is universally recognized as the most romantic city in the world and is probably the most famous among the art cities in Veneto.

The city on the water, an unmissable stop, is located on more than 100 small islands connected to each other with the characteristic bridges (among the most famous the Bridge of Sighs and the Rialto Bridge) that cross the numerous canals and turn the intimate calle a series of unique art and architectural treasures unfold.

Venice, with its palaces, tells of the splendors accumulated over the years of history of the Serenissima. The oriental influences, especially Greek-Byzantine, have perfectly blended with the typical styles of the area, creating a unique artistic combination of its kind.

Venice is surrounded, in its lagoon, by islands such as Murano, the world capital of artistic glass production and Burano with its brightly colored houses. Legend has it that fishermen used to paint their homes to be able to recognize them from afar on their return from the winter fishing period, especially when the mists enveloped the landscape.

But in Veneto all cities have something surprising.

The city of Belluno is located at the foot of the Dolomites, in the northern part of Veneto. It is known for being “the shining city”, a term that was attributed to it by the Celts precisely for the beauty of the landscape that surrounds it. T

he name of Belluno is linked to Andrea Brustolon, a famous Baroque sculptor, who bequeathed many of his works to the city.

They can be admired inside the church of San Pietro where there are two of its altarpieces or in Palazzo Fulcis, seat of the Civic Museum, which also houses masterpieces by Sebastiano Ricci, Domenico Tintoretto, Ippolito Caffi and other artists from the fourteenth century to the beginning ‘900.

Located in the heart of the region, Treviso is a town rich in history.

Within its walls there are artistic wonders such as the Duomo with the altarpiece of the Annunciation by Titian, the Civic Museums in the offices of Santa Caterina and the Luigi Bailo Museum and Ca ‘dei Carraresi, which hosts important international exhibitions.

We recommend a walk along the river Sile and the canals, where the arcaded houses with the beautiful frescoed facades reflect on the Buranelli canal and tell the close link between Treviso and its waters.

Verona, with its majestic Arena that welcomes the visitor and Juliet’s house, an essential destination for those who have fallen in love with its tormented story with Romeo, masterfully written by Shakespeare.

Verona is a city of art in the round and its historic center was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.

Walking through the historic center, then, you can admire the splendid noble palaces, a reminder of the ancient splendor, and the imposing military palaces, such as Palazzo Barbieri, now the town hall, and Palazzo della Gran Guardia.

Padua has magnificent finely frescoed fourteenth-century palaces that testify to the splendor of the Carraresi Lordship.

The art in Padua is the Scrovegni Chapel, with the precious cycle of frescoes by Giotto. And then, before leaving, we recommend a walk along the avenues of the first university botanical garden in Europe, registered in the UNESCO World Heritage list.

Vicenza is one of the pearls of the Veneto region.

The famous architect Andrea Palladio designed and built most of his masterpieces here, so much so that today the city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Those who enter its historic center for the first time will be enchanted by the magnificence of the Palladian Basilica overlooking Piazza dei Signori. All around then stand out the period buildings, also a legacy of the Renaissance genius.

Rovigo represents for many an artistic, cultural and environmental discovery.

The architectural testimonies present along the city streets tell of a city born as an episcopal fief that in the medieval period was enriched in monuments and palaces.

Among all the Torre Donà, emblem of the city, and the Torre Mozza, residues of the ancient medieval fortification, stand out.
