The 4 top destinations to discover by boat

Boat Time. From the coast of Sardinia to the shores of Lake Garda passing through the Venice lagoon:
here’s where to go sailing this summer

Hotel My Passion suggests 4 boat trips along the most picturesque coasts of Italy, casting off the moorings and ploughing the waves towards emotions that taste of sea, nature and freedom.

1 In the sea of Sardinia
Goletta Milmar
is a 20-metre wooden sailing boat waiting to take you on a voyage to discover the sea of Chia. Your departure is from Hotel Aquadulci to the port of Teulada, from where you set sail at 10 am; and as regards the itinerary, well, that’s up to the wind. If it is blowing southeast, you sail towards Capo Malfatano and on to Tuerredda and Perdalonga. Lunch could not be anything other than the fare of the sea and the land of Sardinia: spaghetti with seafood, carasau bread and fresh fruit. The journey resumes in the afternoon, bearing for Isola Rossa, and on to Porto Scudo and Porto Zafferano, which can only be reached by sea. But when the Sirocco isn’t blowing, then you head southwest, to explore Isola Rossa, Porto Pirastu, Porto Scudo and on to the overhang of Capo Teulada and Cala Zafferano.

2 The wild spirit of Elba Island
The personal manager of the Boutique Hotel Ilio in Capo Sant’Andrea (LI) guides you to the most beautiful waters of Isola d’Elba. Departure from Marciana Marina is bright and early, heading east until you reach Punta Fetovaia, a beach with red-grained granite sand. Lunch is enjoyed in the splendid Gulf of Fetovaia, where you can also take a dip in incredibly blue waters. Hotel Ilio is a diffused hotel: it consists of a central nucleus with a panoramic terrace from which short paths lead to the 20 rooms, created in traditional buildings.

3 Exploring Lake Garda
Lido Palace
in Riva del Garda (TN) proposes its Get on board offer. The package includes: 2 overnight stays in your preferred room type, daily buffet breakfast, newspapers and magazines in your room, aperitif on the Terrace of the Balì Bar, a 5-course dinner with tasting menu and a selection of wines at Il Re Della Busa restaurant, an experience in a catamaran to discover the breathtaking scenery of Lake Garda and entry to the CXI SPA until noon of the day of departure with 10% discount on the SPA treatments. Prices start at 880 euro per room.

4 Venice aboard a motor launch
The tour starts from Romantik Hotel Villa Margherita in Mira Porte (VE), a 17th-century Venetian villa on the Brenta Riviera, a few km from the Serenissima, having stepped aboard one of the exclusive and luxurious wooden motor launches. The “Magica Venezia” guided tour is ideal for those who wish to visit the city cruising the Grand Canal and into the minor canals, amid famous palaces and bridges. For a day at the sea far from mass tourism, nothing beats the excursion to Alberoni – Lido di Venezia.
