Stockholm, springtime news. From the opening of Hotel Kungsträdgården to the next edition of Bocuse d’Or Europe

In spring a new boutique hotel will open in the city of Stockholm, Hotel Kungsträdgården – The King’s Garden, right beside Kungsträdgården Park. Converted from an 18th-century edifice, the hotel is to have 98 rooms decorated in the Gustavian style, a restaurant, bar, gym and relaxation area; it will also feature meeting/conference rooms accommodating up to 250 people. The site of the new hotel will be online from March; in the meantime, curious readers may visit: www.hotelstureplan.se.

However, this is not the only interesting news the Swedish capital has in store for this year.
Next 26 April will be a white night, with great celebrations and a non-stop programme of over 350 events.
And there will be no sleep the following week either! The spotlight will be trained on the haute cuisine of the Bocuse d’Or Europe, which this year will be held in Stockholm on 7 and 8 May.
