Spring between art, flower gardens and visits to extraordinary places

Primavera

Three spring appointments not to be missed. To immerse yourself in a spectacular flowering of wisteria, to discover treasures of art and history throughout Italy and to make the most exclusive shopping an immersive street art experience

It’s finally Spring! The season of flowers is back, the mild air that invites you to go on excursions out of town and to renew your outfit.

HotelmyPassion has selected for you 3 experiences not to be missed to welcome the sweetest and most romantic season of the year.

1 The Gardens of Villa della Pergola reopen with the spectacular flowering of the wisteria

The renowned wisteria collection of the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, in Alassio, will welcome visitors from Saturday 25 March for a new season.

Guided tours of the Gardens restart precisely in conjunction with the spectacular flowering of the most important collection of wisteria in Italy. This year will also see new acquisitions expand the number of existing varieties to over 40.

Walking in the park and among the pergolas, spectacular waterfalls of different colors create a unique setting, giving visitors an unforgettable experience.

Furthermore, the Gardens welcome the new curator Giulio Veronese.

Architect and gardener originally from Ferrara, Giulio brings to the Gardens of Villa della Pergola a strong experience, gained in prestigious gardens around the world, including various properties in England, such as Highgrove House, the private garden of King Charles III.

2 The FAI Spring Days are back

The FAI Spring Days are back on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March. They are animated and promoted by delegations from all over Italy. Also for this edition, thematic itineraries and special openings have been identified which will allow you to discover unusual and extraordinary places throughout the country.

A unique weekend, in support of the FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano fundraising campaign.

The FAI Spring Days are the most important street event dedicated to the cultural and landscape heritage of our country with the exceptional opening of over 750 inaccessible or little-known places.

3 Street art at the Fondaco dei Tedeschi

The Fondaco dei Tedeschi, an iconic address for luxury shopping and a cultural hub in Venice, changes its look with the arrival of spring. In fact, it presents a new and surprising layout.

The famous shop windows, the courtyard and the windows that overlook it are colored and come alive with installations and images that refer to the colors and graphics of street art.

Bright fluorescent colors and graphics inspired by metropolitan graffiti. The visual aspect is played around titles, felt pen writing, signs and symbols that recall the world of street art.

Gioele Corradengo, alias Sexsdreams, was involved in the new set-up.

At the Fondaco dei Tedeschi he creates installations, near the main entrance, which give a cheerful welcome to the visitor and give the environment a new, contemporary and irreverent atmosphere.

Not only. Armed with a spray can, he will intervene in her own way with writings and graphic signs on the shirts worn for the occasion by those present, expressing his personal and irreverent interpretation of style.
