Pisa
This is the time of year with shorter but sunny days, and there are perfect to travel. Hotelmypassion suggests the city of the leaning tower and a stay in AllegroItalia Pisa

September is a special month: it’s time to come back to work, but autumn has not yet arrived and the days are warm even if shorter.

There is still a certain desire to travel and to have few days of relaxation. This will be a perfect September to visit Italy. If summer is mostly dedicated to sea holidays, in September you can opt to visit some cities

.

Hotelmypassion takes yo to Pisa

The Leaning Tower, symbol of Pisa, is the best known Italian monument in the world.

Together with the cathedral and the baptistery it is part of a complex of works that the poet D’Annunzio defined as “Miracles”, hence the diction of Piazza dei Miracoli for the place that hosts them.

The square has been included in the Unesco world heritage list since 1987.

The reason for so much fame is in the inclined structure of the Tower due to a subsidence in the ground, but also in its magnificent architecture, made of arches and loggias and inside which 294 spiral steps lead to the top of a belfry from which you can enjoy a spectacular panorama: 56 meters above the ground.

The Cathedral and the baptistery are white as snow and are an unmatched example of Pisan Romanesque; in the case of the cathedral, however, Arab influences are evident inside.

The Leaning Tower is clearly visible from Allegroitalia Tower Plaza Pisa, the ideal hotel to rest after visiting these monuments so rich of history and charm.

In fact, Pisa is not just the Tower.

Who lives in Pisa love to experience the historic center and the Lungarno which ideally cuts the city in two, which is the seat of the Normal University of Pisa, one of the oldest and most renowned in the world.

Pisa has a historic center full of palaces and churches of great architectural charm. But the city is also an important center of contemporary art.

Near the railway station it boasts the magnificent Tuttomondo mural by Keith Haring, while the fountain in Piazza della Stazione is by the great Arnaldo Pomodoro.

At the end of intense days discovering the former Maritime Republic, there is nothing better than relaxing in the hotel: Allegroitalia Tower Plaza offers a series of facilities perfect for relaxing.

The hotel has views of the Leaning Tower in the distance, a swimming pool with hydromassage and a furnished terrace surrounded by a garden.

All air-conditioned, rooms at the Allegroitalia Pisa Tower Plaza feature modern furnishings and parquet floors. Free WiFi is available, and most have views of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
