New gourmet appointments at the iconic Bauer in Venice

Bauer

The 5-star Hotel Bauer Palazzo confirms itself as the coolest address in the Serenissima with the unpublished gourmet courses of chef Cristiano Tomei. Flavors are excellence and take shape in tasty ‘pampering’ at the freshly restyled Settimo Cielo Rooftop Restaurant

At the Hotel Bauer Palazzo, history meets charm and the most exclusive taste. In fact, the hotel celebrates summer with a prestigious partnership with Maison Bollinger and presenting the gourmet courses of chef Cristiano Tomei.

The partnership with Masion Bollinger
Thanks to an exclusive partnership with Maison Bollinger – the excellence of champagne for over 2 centuries – the Settimo Cielo Rooftop Lounge and Restaurant becomes the Venetian home of one of the most famous French wineries.

To welcome the Maison, the terrace set up has been redesigned in terms of spaces and furnishings to make the lounge area even more exclusive. The bar has been renovated, the elegant rattan lounges with refined ecru shades, already present, are now completed by new stations with tables and raised seats positioned along the sides of the terrace to offer guests the opportunity to fully admire the magnificence of the panorama.

And each seat is enriched with a ‘touch’ of red with soft Bollinger custom fabric cushions.

But Settimo Cielo is also the Venetian address of the creative and avant-garde cuisine of the charismatic chef Cristiano Tomei. In the enchanted atmosphere of the typical ‘altana’ it will therefore be possible to fall into the temptation of chef Tomei’s new gourmet courses, for 7 and 9 courses.

Each course will be a surprise and can also be enjoyed inside the panoramic restaurant hall, with a refined design in which majestic Murano glass chandeliers stand out, enveloping seats in powder pink velvet, tables with a mise en place that pays homage to the Venetian style.

And for those who want to indulge in a journey through the flavors of the Venetian and Mediterranean tradition for lunch, or even dinner, in a more informal formula, the new proposals of the De Pisis restaurant, conceived according to the inspiration of the chef Cristiano Tomei and by resident chef Dario Parascandolo, served on the large terrace at water level from which to admire the passage of the gondolas.

A show that can also be enjoyed while sipping a drink in the open spaces of the Bar Canale.

Venetian elegance
For almost 150 years, the Hotel Bauer Palazzo has been synonymous with authentic Venetian hospitality and elegance. After other changes of ownership, the ‘Bauer’ was acquired by Signa Holding, the largest Austrian private real estate company that owns and manages, in cooperation with other companies, prestigious hotels in the most beautiful places in Central Europe.

The urban and contemporary one, enclosed in the wing of the hotel overlooking the church of San Moisè, and the other Venetian neo-Gothic with a stunning view of the Grand Canal.

The interiors are an example of art-deco style well preserved over time, with period furnishings, fine fabrics, sparkling Murano glass chandeliers, immaculate marble floors and typical carved stucco ceilings.
