Florence
The Savoy Hotel welcomes the creations created by Ginori 1735 together with the designer Luca Nichetto. They are designer scented candles, air fresheners and porcelain incense burners from the LCDC – La Compagnia Di Caterina collection. A tribute to the story of Catherine de Medici and her journey to Paris expressed in 5 fragrances.
Furthermore, from the lobby to the Irene restaurant, a triumph of Sebastian Flowers compositions is the ideal setting for the home fragrances signed by the historic Florentine manufacturer.
Numerous events are scheduled for the festive period: from daily Christmas cocktails to fashion pop-up stores on the weekend of 17 and 18 December. Finally, the menus designed by Fulvio Pierangelini for the Christmas Eve dinner and the New Year’s Eve dinner at the Irene restaurant.
Rome
Pasquale Bruni dresses the spectacular lobby of the Hotel de la Ville. In fact, a majestic tree decorated with the iconic codes of the famous Italian jewelery maison is enriched with gold tones and white ostrich feathers, the result of the unmistakable touch of Sebastian Flowers.
The December calendar of the hotel is a crescendo of appointments.
From cocktails with daily live music at the Julep Bar, through the rich Sunday brunch at the Mosaico Restaurant, up to the refined menus created by Fulvio Pierangelini for Christmas Eve and brunch, closing with a triumphant New Year’s Eve in Great Gatsby style.
The Hotel de Russie instead reveals a precious collaboration with Prada.
The brand signs the design of the protagonist tree in the Valadier square. It is composed of a grid of triangles in white LED on an octagonal base of luminous logos almost 5 meters high which culminates with a luminous Prada triangle as a tip.
Inside the lobby, an installation created by Sebastian Flowers welcomes guests with a triumph in shades of red, green and gold, embellished with sparkling details and symbolic ornaments such as Santa Claus, carousels, candies and colored ribbons.
The program for the month of December at the Hotel de Russie includes Sunday brunches dedicated to the Flavors of Christmas, Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas brunch and the New Year’s Eve gala dinner. All with menus designed by Fulvio Pierangelini.
Palermo
In the elegant Liberty spaces of Villa Igiea, a selection of works by the sculptor and artist Domenico Pellegrino pays homage to the history of Sicily and the Mediterranean with the composition “Olive Garden”. It is freely inspired by the myth of the Odyssey and placed at the entrance to the structure.
The installation continues in the library with one of the artist’s most famous creations entitled “Reality is the cage of those who lack imagination”.
It is a real invitation to give space to creativity. In fact, this is the symbolism of the work which sees 2 illuminated wooden peacocks inside a large cage with an open door, a reference to the pictorial allegories of Ettore De Maria Bergler in the famous Sala Basile.
The theme of peacocks also remains central in the decorations of the common areas by Sebastian Flowers. So here are magnificent specimens composed of fir branches, feathers mottled in shades from indigo to petroleum, expertly assembled flowers and plants.
The calendar of events that characterizes the last weeks of the year at Villa Igiea is very rich.
From Friday evening with live music at the Terrazza Igiea Bar, at the Caffè Letterario with Stefania Auci in the Sala Basile on Saturday 17 December. To finish with Fulvio Pierangelini’s menus for Christmas lunch, Boxing Day brunch, New Year’s Eve dinner at the Florio Restaurant and at the Terrazza Igiea Bar and the brunch on 1 January.
Finally, the addresses of Rocco Forte Hotels have also launched the Twelve Days of Christmas program for the first time.
