The Me By Melià brand of Melià International presents #Womanisart, the project that celebrates the multifaceted role of women in society and in art
It is a tribute to the other half of the sky #Womanisart, the project promoted for the third consecutive year by Me By Melià, the luxury brand of Melià International .
The goal is to give voice to the female universe. Like? Through the contribution of 7 artists active in different fields and residing in different parts of the world. From Mexico to Madrid via Dubai, each representing a different destination in the chain.I
The young artist, actress and director Silvia Bertocchi was chosen for Italy. Born in 1993, with your multidisciplinary work between performance art and visual poetry you have been able to animate the corridors of Me Milan, in Piazza della Repubblica, with the right emotional tension.
She presented a video work shot inside the hotel. In the video she highlights the different accents of her work. You therefore make room for dance, painting and cinematography, starting from the suite of the ME Il Duca. The same one in which in 2019 she created the #POETRYSUITE performance to introduce her first solo exhibition “ InumanAnomaliA ”.
The idea of the mini virtual exhibition starts from the reflection “ woman is as she defines it ”, a theme on which the artists were called to think and then develop a personal narrative.
The exhibition is visible on the twitter channel (@MEByMelia), facebook (@mebymelia) and Instagram (@me_by_melia). In addition to Silvia Bertocchi (@silvia_bertocchi), she sees among the participants the artists: Ana Hop, Cintia Lund, Lauren Baker, Irene Baon, Anna Rujas and Veronica Ruth Frias.
