Born in the 1920s MarePineta Resort, which is the generous size of a ‘Grand Hotel’ as it was used for hotel facilities of the past, has helped to make the history of the destination. Since its opening it has distinguished itself as an icon of style and elegance of the Romagna coast. Since 1995 the Salaroli Group has acquired ownership of the Resort and, since the 2021 season, it also deals directly with its management
After its entry, the Salaroli Group invested in a makeover with the intention of conferring that touch of contemporaneity that was lacking. He did this by entrusting studio Lissoni in Milan with the construction of ‘The Cube’. This design building, which seems to project itself into the park, houses the ‘The Cube’ restaurant with open kitchen, live-cooking space, and large panoramic windows on the park.
It also houses 16 rooms and suites, including executive Lissoni and the beautiful Junior Suites.
The architect Lissoni also conceived all the furnishings and interior architecture with simplicity and elegance.
Among the most appreciated things on the Romagna Riviera, there is food. At MarePineta all this translates into the Chef’s proposals, dishes with irresistible tastes and flavors that arise from the skilful use of fresh raw materials and an irresistible creative flair. The best cuisine, “Fresh, Italian and Simple”, to be enjoyed in the two restaurants: ‘The Cube’ and ‘Sands’ the exclusive beach restaurant by the sea.
The Resort is connected to the private beach by a glicini-covered path through the Sporting Club. Its beach is located very close to the center of nightlife and shopping in Milano Marittima and has been completely renovated by Studio Lissoni Milano.
Among the largest and most cared for of this stretch of Adriatic coast, it guarantees maximum privacy even in the hottest periods of the year. Sunbeds, umbrellas and cabanas are extra-spaced to ensure comfort and privacy.

The History
There are two dates that set the history of Milano Marittima: the 1912 year of official foundation of the city and 1927 when the Hotel Mare Pineta was inaugurated. Tourism was in its in fast day, but even then it was understood how charm, style and elegance were characteristic elements of the quality of an offer aimed at a refined clientele.
