Leon’s Place in Rome: Welcome into Planetaria Hotels

The Italian Hotel Group continue its growth
and with the latest roman new entry is now boast 10 Upper Upscale hotels
in Milan, Genoa, Florence and Rome

Planetaria Hotels takes a leap forward with the acquisition of Leon’s Place as the tenth structure of the group!
The Hotel Group thus doubles and diversifies its presence in the Italian capital, with two complementary business & leisure locations – the renovated Hotel Pulitzer, being a youthful, dynamic and colourful designer hotel in the EUR district, and newcomer Leon’s Place, a boutique hotel on Via XX Settembre, Rome’s historic street linking the Quirinale with the famous Porta Pia.
“Affixing the Planetaria Hotels plaque to Via XX Settembre, to the 19th-century façade of Leon’s Place in the heart of Rome, was an indescribable feeling with a symbolic significance, like conquering a mountain! Planetary has never stopped growing thanks to the motivational pull of the founding family, the harmony within the team and the affection of our guests. We work with joy, hence we reached 10 hotels…and we will not stop here!”, declares Sofia Gioia Vedani, CEO of Planetaria Hotels, with great enthusiasm.
Leon’s Place is located in the heart of the Eternal City, in a strategic position just a short stroll from Piazza della Repubblica, the main Ministries and Embassies. Via Veneto and Villa Borghese are within walking distance. It is well-connected to the nearby Termini Station, just 10 minutes’ walk away, also being close to the Metro lines with the Repubblica stop on line A being an 8-minute walk and the Castro Pretorio stop on line B just a 6-minute walk away.
In addition to the strategic position, Leon’s Place also bears great historical significance and representative value – it is the former Palazzo Fabi Altini that dates back to the 1800s, named for the sculptor, architect and President of the prestigious Accademia di S. Luca, who designed the structure in the heart of Rome.
The Upper Upscale hotel features 56 rooms, a lounge and garden, 2 meeting rooms (with a total capacity of 150 persons), with spaces for catering and events, a wellness centre, fitness area and rooftop terrace with a panorama with views extending over the capital.
The hotel is expected to be revealed in the autumn, with its new sparkling and invigorating concept set to become the ‘Roman parlour’ of Planetaria Hotels.
