Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti, the second jewel in the Lefay Resorts collection, celebrated its first birthday. To celebrate it, Hotelmypassion went to wish him well and tried it for you. On 1 August 2019 he opened his doors and, it immediately became clear that he would be able to win over guests and, thanks to his virtuous project, obtain important awards.

Yes, because this Resort, located in Pinzolo, within the Madonna di Campiglio ski area, is not only immersed in the splendid setting of the Dolomites declared a “World Heritage Site” by UNESCO. It is an integral part of the surrounding nature, with which it harmonizes perfectly thanks to the vision of the Lefay Resort group: an architecture integrated into the territory, cutting-edge technologies that allow to reduce energy and water consumption, the use of clean energy and renewable.

Added to this is constant attention to the social and economic development of local communities. For this reason, in line with the activities undertaken with the first facility on Lake Garda and as part of the Lefay Total Green project, Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti has already obtained ISO 9001 and 14001 and ClimaHotel® certifications. The Group will fully offset the CO2 emissions of the facility and will certify it ISO14064; Green Globe and Being Organic & Ecological SPA (EcoCert).

The Resort was built by reinterpreting the local houses in a modern way and with the use of local materials such as fir and larch wood. Three distinct blocks characterize it. The central body, represents the “diamond” iconographic element of the Dolomites, is the one accessed upon arrival and where the main services are located.

A construction whithout walls. In their place, large windows that open generously onto the external landscape giving a spectacular view, and a feeling of being inside the nature that surrounds it. A visual impact of strong suggestion because it immediately makes the guest enter the world of ‘Lefay’ and the philosophy of sustainable stay that one prepares to live.

The lateral bodies in which the Suites are arranged extend from the central body. This design peculiarity involved a considerable commitment in the construction phase, however rewarded by a final result in line with the vision of the group. The SPA

Thanks to its 5,000 square meters of surface, the SPA of Lefay Resort Dolomiti is one of the largest SPAs in the Alps and is divided into four levels: an entire floor with over 20 cabins where treatments inspired by alpine nature are carried out; the indoor and outdoor pool area heated all year round; a level dedicated to Fitness, with a beautiful gym equipped with the exclusive Artis line by Technogym® – permeated with light that enters through the large windows with direct access to a garden with a relaxation area.

During the summer, yoga or pilates classes are organized in the outdoor area. Possibility of various outdoor activities, such as the Vertical Walk. At guests’ disposal, free of charge, e-bikes to explore the area and the surrounding valleys.

The Lefay SPA Scientific Committee has created the Lefay SPA Method, an innovative wellness method that arises from the union between Classical Chinese Medicine and Western scientific research.

This union is the basis of the Lefay SPA Method Therapeutic Energy World, consisting of five areas called Green Dragon, Red Phoenix, White Tiger, Black Turtle and Il Centro, which are distinguished by different levels of temperatures and humidity and dedicated phytotherapies.

Staying within them will help to make us feel, within a world of analogies and symbolisms, what kind of energy we need to rebalance. The stations represent the correlation of our organism to the elements, to the seasons and to the particular stages of our existence: each one is linked to an organ and to the personal characteristics of each of us.

The Signature offer includes face-body energetic massages, face-body energetic aesthetic rituals and the special section “I Profumi del Bosco”, dedicated to the territory: sensory journeys in which the scents of the woods, evergreen essences and alpine flowers are released. Among these, the exclusive paths of the Black Turtle stand out.

The area dedicated to adults houses the indoor pool completely built in tonalite and the innovative Therapeutic Energy Path, consisting of five areas with different types of saunas, materials, phytotherapies and aromatherapy, connected to the large central Whirlpool with water enriched with magnesium salts .

Lefay Vital Gourmet

Even in the kitchen, we find a philosophy based on the ethics of sustainability, characterized by respect for five principles: Mediterranean, seasonality, Italian style, ethics and the privilege of local suppliers. Executive Chef Matteo Maenza transfers these principles to the two restaurants of the Resort: the “Grual” (open only for dinner, also for external guests) and the main ‘Dolomia’ restaurant.

Grual

The setting of this restaurant is intimate and is inspired by an enchanted forest, Grual, its name, is that of the mountain that forms the backdrop to the Resort. His proposal of gourmet dishes is original and excites at every course, because it is based on an ‘altimetric’ menu in which each ingredient has a precise altitude: Alta Montagna, Alpeggio and Fondo Valle. The ingredients from organic and sustainable suppliers of Trentino-Alto Adige are carefully selected and valued.

Dolomia Restaurant

A decisive and elegant space with large windows overlooking the scenery of the surrounding mountains, offering fascinating views at any time of the year. It is the ideal setting for a gastronomic experience that combines typical recipes and renewed flavors.
