The amazing and atmospheric Christmas by Rocco Forte Hotels

firmato Rocco Forte Hotels

Pop art works to feel like children again and do good. Trees of an enchanted garden that transmit poetry and magic. Decorations that become a sensorial journey to immerse yourself in an enchanted atmosphere and mixology with Perrier-Jouët champagnes. It’s Christmas by Rocco Forte Hotels

Christmas by Rocco Forte Hotels is all about amazement. To give adults the true magic of the holidays too. To amaze. And to give emotions.

To continue to make us believe that at Christmas everything becomes possible.

Florence

The amazing Christmas by Rocco Forte Hotels comes to life with an unusual fusion of luxury and pop art at the Hotel Savoy.

In fact, the iconic hotel has collaborated with one of the most celebrated pop artists in the world. That is Gianpiero D’Alessandro.

Famous for his creative ability and esteemed collaborations with the best brands in the world, D’Alessandro created and donated an exclusive miniseries of graphics and decorations for Rocco Forte Hotels.

This limited edition, together with a selection of his works, are on display during the Christmas holidays at the hotel. Its Rocco Forte Hotels teddy bears, symbols of warmth and affection, are the protagonists of an extraordinary experience.

The proceeds from the sales of this exclusive collection will be donated to the Istituto degli Innocenti Ets Foundation in Florence.

Rome

The Hotel de Russie, the iconic Roman address of Rocco Forte Hotels, is inspired by the words of the physicist Albert Einstein. So it illuminates its spaces with art and culture, beauty and poetry.
Always committed to supporting the arts, the Hotel de Russie continues to deepen the dialogue between art and nature with a project by Marco Nereo Rotelli, the light artist and Phd Riccardo Valentini, 2007 Nobel Peace Prize winner together with scientists of the IPCC Climate.
The artist Rotelli and the scientific technology developed by prof. Valentini together with the work of designer Valerio Cenciarelli give life to an enchanted garden and a magical olive grove in the heart of Rome.
The Hotel de Russie is designed as a theater where the audience and actors are the trees.
The monumental historical garden, designed by the architect. Valadier in the 19th century, is the audience. The trees are in fact the subject of a spectacular light installation with inlaid verses dedicated to nature and donated by contemporary international poets.
Their verses, projected with the stylistic signature of Marco Nereo Rotelli, are visible as a magical verbal ramification.
Instead the stage is the entrance courtyard, the renowned Piazzetta Valadier. Here there are 4 olive trees and the staging takes place. Trees interact with humans, communicate their state of health and react to the presence, emanating color and creating emotion.
Right in the setting of the Secret Garden is the Winter Punch Bar. Here the expert mixologists of the Stravinsky Bar, taking inspiration from the traditional recipes of the punch drink, add a personal contemporary touch and create a special menu of hot and cold punches.

At the Hotel de la Ville the decorative elements of the traditional tree – created thanks to the artisan expertise of Bottega Conticelli – become diffusers of the iconic fragrance “The Essential Blend n. 70″ from the maison de parfum Campomarzio70.

It is a Roman excellence founded in 1926, today a leader in the international panorama of artistic fragrances.

A true sensorial journey – with a bouquet of amber, vanilla and cedar wood – enriched by Sebastian Flowers who, through the decorations, completes the synergy between the essences of Campomarzio70 and the perfumed notes released by the floral elements.

The rooms of the evocative nineteenth-century building welcome the 2023 holidays with a calendar full of events and menus designed by Chef Fulvio Pierangelini:

  1. Christmas Café. Until January 6, 2024, every day from 8:00 to 18:00 delicacies and floral suggestions for an unmissable convivial moment in the pop-up bar on Via Sistina. A tasty break becomes a shopping opportunity, thanks to the wide range of decorative elements and garlands, bouquets and floral arrangements from which to choose your gifts.
  2. Brunch. The usual Sunday proposal expands the agenda of events with the Christmas, New Year and Epiphany brunch.
  3. Vigil. The one that precedes Christmas is elegant and refined, the one that precedes New Year’s Eve is vibrant and Moulin Rouge themed.

Palermo

Villa Igiea, Rocco Forte Hotels address in Palermo, celebrates the savoir-vivre of the Belle Epoque in a contemporary key.
For the 2023 holidays it can count on an exceptional partner: Perrier-Jouët.
The common thread of the partnership is that of Art Nouveau, a style that is found in the floralia of the Sala Basile, as well as in the Maison Belle Epoque of the champagne house based in Épernay.
A lively combination that is also expressed in the setting of the Igiea Terrazza Bar where 3 signature cocktails made with Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and Perrier-Jouët Blason Rosé champagnes make their debut.
The absolute first in the history of the maison which opens up to mixology is sealed by Maestro Salvatore Calabrese, recently awarded the recognition of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
