Island paradise instead of puddles: escape the cold season with Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line

Norwegian Cruise Line will be bringing its guests to the most beautiful sunny islands and the finest powder beaches in the coming winter months

Islands are filled with guests on the numerous Caribbean routes of the international shipping company. According to National Geographic, Magens Bay is one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world on St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. The palm-fringed sandy beach and turquoise sea are some of the Caribbean’s most popular photo opportunities and will be included on their itineraries in the Eastern Caribbean aboard the newest ship, Norwegian Bliss, from Miami, as well as the smaller Norwegian Dawn from Puerto Rico approached the Southern Caribbean. For example, guests of the Norwegian Getaway from / to Miami have an island all to themselves: Besides Roatán in Honduras as well as Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, the ship also stops at Harvest Caye, Belize. The Island Resort can actively and exclusively tour NCL guests by kayak or on a stand-up paddle board.

That islands not only lure with crystal-clear water and miles of beaches, shows a cruise around Hawaii. For seven days, the Pride of America cruises exclusively in front of the four largest islands and remains often in the harbors until late in the evening or even overnight. For example, guests can explore Hawaii Volcanoes National Park on a full-day excursion on the main island of Big Island. Together with a local tour guide you will drive through the dramatic and surreal landscape of the lava fields up to the Pu’u o Lokuana. From there you will continue to the black and coconut palms entwined Punalu’u sandy beach, which is also the home of the green sea turtle.

In addition to Hawaii, another exotic island group is on the program at NCL: On a 13-day cruise from / to Sydney, Norwegian Jewel also arrives in New Caledonia. The capital Nouméa is located on a peninsula whose beaches and bays are ideal for a guided bike tour. In addition, the pine forests and grottos on the smaller islands of Île des Pins and Lifou inspire cruise passengers far away from the classic seaside tourism.

Less sun, but a real island delicacy offers a South American cruise aboard the Norwegian Sun. From Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the way to Chile also to the Falkland Islands. Guests drive in a 4×4 vehicle to a secluded beachfront nature preserve to observe a colony of king penguins, gentoo penguins and Magellan penguins.

Thanks to a $ 50 credit balance for shore excursions per port on new bookings through October 31st, destinations can be explored in a variety of ways. The extra budget will be given to customers per cabin and for each cruise of at least 5 days.
