2 Passalacqua, Lake Como

Passalacqua opened its doors on 3 June after a long restoration that brought it back to its original splendor. It is an extraordinary property in the heart of the town of Moltrasio, on the shores of Lake Como.

This is the latest project by Paolo, Antonella and Valentina De Santis, a Como family of hotel entrepreneurs who already own the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

Passalacqua reopens its doors with 24 suites distributed between 3 different buildings.

The main residence, the Villa, houses 12 suites that celebrate the opulence of Italian history with original frescoes, stuccos and decorations. The 8 suites of the Palazz – the old stable – are characterized by a welcoming and refined style, with centuries-old exposed beams and hand-painted damask walls.

Finally, a few steps from the water, Casa Al Lago is the ‘garden house‘. It is ideal for exclusive use, with only 4 suites, each featuring a private garden. The Palazz also houses the Spa, which offers exclusive Barbara Sturm treatments.

One of Passalacqua’s most important treasures are the terraced gardens overlooking the lake. They are dotted with fountains, ancient trees, and secret passages.

The culinary offer is authentically ‘at home’, inspired by the simplest Italian traditions, with fresh ingredients “from the garden to the table”.

3 J.K. Place Capri
In the year that celebrates the 18th anniversary of its inauguration, the luxury boutique hotel unveils the principle of a general restyling that will continue in the coming months of winter closure.
