In June 2019, the grand opening of the futuristic Skyview Chalets between Dobbiaco Lake (BZ) and the skyes of Alto Adige
These are not simple chalets. In the beautiful setting of Toblacher See (Dobbiaco Lake) (BZ), with the Dolomites on the background, there’s nothing better than Skyview Chalets for those who love freedom but don’t want to give up comfort.
Thanks to the visionary architecture of Paolo Scoglio and to the ongoing work of Rubner Haus on the wooden houses, in June 2019 Andreas Panzenberger’s dream came true: 12 glass cubes recalling a ship deck, realized using local wood and fabrics to create a ultra-contemporary construction in which sleeping under the stars with the view of the lake turns out to be possible. This is the path Andreas, once successful photographer in Germany, his partner Barbara and their dog Lola walk along: recover privacy and peace in a place where magic happens.
Few kilometres away from Tre Cime di Lavaredo, exactly where Dolomites Natural Park meets Fanes-Sennes-Braies Park, the perfume of wood melts with the wine aroma of the cellar which shows Andreas love for sparkling wines and hosts weekly masterclass and exclusive tasting with excellent sommeliers.
Every glass cube has its private Spa with infrared Sauna. Moving in after sunset is delightful, better if holding a glass of wine: the total lack of light pollution makes it possible to enjoy a romantic moment under the stars. In the deluxe version, the chalet offers a jacuzzi on the panoramic terrace. The breakfast (organic, of course) is brought on electric quad bikes as a sign of the ecological approach of the camping, which also welcomes dogs with amazing comforts (organic food, beds and special showers).
The Restaurant “Il Fienile” has a beautiful view on the lake and from his waters takes inspirations for delicacies, with sea fish in low season and lake fish all the year round. More than 100 wine labels will match the typical Alto Adige food with several tasty options.
For nightlife and shopping, Cortina is just 30 minutes far by car, while fashion addicted will love Dobbiaco with his Franz Kraler boutiques and many more. Finally, gluttons cannot forget that Alto Adige is the perfect destination to enjoy some dining around under the Michelin guide stars.
Sports lovers can’t miss the ski slopes and the hiking on Tre Cime Dolomiti and Plan de Corones. In summer, hiking, biking and jogging along the Monte Piano, Monte Specie and Prato Piazza will be a delightful opportunity to live to visit the surroundings.
