Carlton Hotel Saint Moritz launches Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains

Moving Mountains is the innovative program launched by Carlton Hotel Saint Moritz. The splendid hotel nestled in the majestic mountain landscape of the Engadine offers a personalized and exclusive holistic holiday experience for the winter season. Target? Promote vitality, reconnect with nature and celebrate joy

Do you want to restore body and soul in the enchanting setting of snow-capped peaks? Until March 26, the elegant Carlton Hotel in Saint Moritz offers the Moving Mountains program.
Created thanks to the experience and passion of Dr. Götz Bechtolsheimer (third generation of owners of the Tschuggen Hotel Group) with a team of experts,

Mountains was born with the idea of promoting vitality, reconnecting with nature and celebrating the
joy. The innovative program, which offers customizable paths, revolves around 5 pillars: moving, playing, feeding, resting, giving.

To play
Playing is central to the Moving Mountains philosophy. In fact, this area of the program includes empowering expeditions and tailor-made adventures.
The Carlton Hotel St. Moritz offers 9 experiences.

Empowering Expeditions offer the chance to physically challenge yourself or master a new skill by immersing yourself in the surrounding nature.
They include: snowkiting, a version of kitesurfing on snow; the ice bath in Lej da Staz; the Olympic bob race on the St. Moritz-Celerina OlympicBobrun ice rink, the exclusive use of the Corvatsch slopes for an evening; a tour in the caves of the Morteratsch glacier accompanied by a guide and finally an excursion on a sled.
Among the tailor-made adventures, the Carlton Hotel offers the suggestive night excursion with torches to Lago Nero; the discovery of the art of ice carving with the creation of your own sculpture and the self-guided tour of St. Moritz which leads to a very special final destination: Heidi’s original refuge from the 1937 film.

Nourishment
Food, in addition to nourishment, must also give joy. For this reason, the Moving Mountains menus are healthy but also delicious. In fact, they were born from the collaboration between the starred chefs of the hotel with the nutritionist Rhaya Jordan.

All plant-based, the tasty dishes included in the menus are prepared with ingredients recognized as nutrient-rich, selected for their health benefits and typical of the Swiss mountains.

Rest
Rest is a key part of Moving Mountains. Evening yoga in the room prepares you for a restful and regenerating rest. Also always available “the butler of the dream“. It is ready to create in the comfort of the room a luxurious and personalized pre-sleep ritual with aromatherapy, special menus and infusions that invite you to sink into a deep sleep.

For a total regeneration there is the spa of the Carlton Hotel. It extends over 3 levels. It offers a large sauna area, individual treatment cabins, a gym, an indoor and outdoor pool and even a private spa suite that can be reserved exclusively.

The Moving Mountains program offers 2 special rituals, one for the face and one for the body. Organic products inspired by the surrounding nature are used.

Give
The Tschuggen Hotel Group has been climate neutral since 2019, with the reduction of CO2 emissions through investments in cutting-edge technologies. The environmental impact is offset with carbon credit projects.

They are selected in Switzerland and in developing countries. In addition, local initiatives such as the Arosa ski club or foundations to support artists in Ascona are supported.
