Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz reopens with many new features

St. Moritz

Carlton Hotel St. Moritz, St. Moritz’s most intimate and refined retreat, is ready to welcome its guests in its heyday. In fact, two floors of the structure and the related rooms are even more refined after the restyling. There is also no shortage of new treatments in the sumptuous Spa and new activities to immerse yourself in the nature of the Engadine

St. Moritz

Carlton Hotel St. Moritz reopens its doors to the public for the winter season with many new features. The prestigious hotel of the Tschuggen Collection group located in the Upper Engadine and perched on the lake thus confirms itself as a magical address for mountain enthusiasts.

The innovations concern the rooms, the Spa and the Moving Mountains program. As for the former, 2 floors of the structure and the related rooms have been renovated while the Spa extended on 3 levels will offer a new concept and new treatments.

After the great success of last year, new activities are also planned for the Moving Mountains program. It is a program for reconnecting with nature with tailor-made itineraries based on the requests and needs of each guest.

Obviously, the experiences already tested in last season are confirmed. For example, the torchlight walk immersed in nature to get to Lej Neir, the illuminated descents (for exclusive use) from Corvatsch or the trip inside the Morteratsch ice caves.

10 years of Da Vittorio
The Romanoff and Da Vittorio restaurants are always able to conquer the most demanding palates with their refined gastronomy. The Da Vittorio restaurant (2 Michelin stars and 18 Gault & Millau points) celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Here the Cerea family from Brusaporto focuses on Italian haute cuisine surprises.

At the Romanoff restaurant, on the other hand, local ingredients meet the Moving Mountains nutritional principle and sustainable culinary art.

The third option, always available to guests, is offered by the bright rooms of the Bel Etage where you can also choose to eat on the panoramic terrace. If you want to remain faithful to Swiss traditions, you can opt for one of the former cable car cabins installed on the terrace, where you can enjoy classic recipes such as fondue in a private setting.

Finally, the hotel bar is worth a visit, nominated by Forbes magazine as one of the best addresses in the world to taste the innovative Signature Drinks.

The Carlton hotel does not lack attention to sustainability: for this year, new electric cars are available to guests.

Furthermore, all Tschuggen Collection hotels have been climate neutral since 2019, with the reduction of CO2 emissions through continuous investments in cutting-edge technologies. The environmental impact is offset with carbon credit projects in Switzerland and in developing countries.
