Are you dreaming about a special summer? Choose the Venetian coast. Here summer 2021 is ‘Blue zone’, thanks to 10 Blue Flag beaches. It is a summer of safety and zero impact thanks to the blue zone #costaveneta project, Unionmare Veneto and Venice Sands in collaboration with the Veneto Region and the Ecolabel certification. The safety protocol for the sanitization of beaches began in 2020 thanks to the collaboration between the bathing operators and the Veneto Region. This year the project was implemented with further activities to strengthen the concept of safety applied to the beaches of the Venetian Coast. Further improvement and sustainability are the adopted guidelines. An evolving process, which is being worked on continuously, that looks to the future, moving from the concept of Covid free to bacterium zero.
The value of the project is also certified by the Ecolabel issued by the European community attesting to the zero environmental impact. That of the coast of the Venetian coast is the first case history of territorial certification since it will aggregate all beach operators from the mouths of the Tagliamento to the Po Delta. The aim is to bring the concept of safety and health of the beach holiday back to the center of the tourist offer but with a renewed attention to environmental sustainability and respect for natural resources.
The beaches of the Venetian Riviera
