Portrait Milano opens: not just a hotel but a luxury hub

Portrait Milano

Portrait Milano was born from the renovation of the former Archiepiscopal Seminary in Corso Venezia. A project by the Ferragamo family to return a jewel to the city. It is not just a hotel but a true luxury center, an experiential destination where you can go shopping, refined and trendy, take care of your well-being and gratify the palate

The wait is over. In fact, Portrait Milano opens. And it is not a hotel but a real destination that combines hospitality, catering, wellness and shopping.

One of the most fascinating places in the Quadrilatero thus comes back to life. And this thanks to a careful restoration of the former Archiepiscopal Seminary in Corso Venezia promoted by the Lungarno Collection of the Ferragamo group and entrusted to the architect Michele De Lucchi and his studio Amdl Circle.

After passing the splendid Baroque portal by Francesco Maria Richini, Piazza del Quadrilatero opens up. It is a majestic space of over 2,800 square meters that connects Corso Venezia with Via S. Andrea and overlooked by restaurants, bars, boutiques and wellness proposals.

The private dimension of the project develops from the first floor of the building. 73 rooms and suites welcome guests in an oasis of privacy and timeless elegance, the stylistic signature of the architect Michele Bönan who has curated all the Lungarno Collection properties.

The classic style recalls the tradition of Milanese residences but with contemporary details inspired by Tuscan craftsmanship.

Portrait hospitality, assisted by Identità Golose’s twenty-year experience in haute cuisine and the mastery of chef Andrea Ribaldone, directly manages the bars and restaurants on the north side, which also include a splendid garden, as well as the suggestive loggia.

The young and talented chef Alberto Quadrio has the task of leading these realities and signing the menus of the fine dining and casual dining restaurants.

Portrait Milano to discover
But Portrait Milano is not just a hotel. In fact, restaurants and showrooms of selected brands overlook the splendid square:
  • Beefbar, a restaurant brand with deeply Italian DNA and a distinctly cosmopolitan spirit. The team of the founder Riccardo Giraudi is entrusted with the restaurant and the bar on the eastern side of the square.
  • Antonia, a leading fashion designer in Milan and around the world. The selection of international fashion houses and new emerging brands, the result of the incessant research work of Antonia Giacinti and Maurizio Purificato, finds a new 750 square meter space under the colonnade of the square that is added to the historic Brera shop windows.
  • SO-LE STUDIO, the first flagship of the project born from the creativity of Maria Sole Ferragamo who brings to light the beauty of abandoned materials by transforming them into jewels.
  • The Longevity Suite promotes integrated protocols to guide people towards the best version of themselves thanks to a perfect balance between health, conscious beauty and mental energy. The Longevity Suite will sign the entire wellness part of Portrait Milano.
