Venice Hospitality Challenge – The fifth edition of the competition will be held in Venice on 20 October

Athleticism, luxury and lifestyle are the reference contexts for the Venice Hospitality Challenge, the regatta that has the distinction of being the only one that takes place in the waterways inside a city. An unmissable appointment for sailing enthusiasts and another occasion to visit Venice and stay in one of its superb 5-star hotels.

Saturday 20 October will see the challenge between 11 maxi yachts that have written unforgettable pages in the history of sailing combined with the same number of famous exponents of Venetian haute hôtellerie.

Helmed by internationally renowned skippers, the teams will take to the course to contend for the coveted doge’s hat, made especially for the Venice Hospitality Challenge 2018 by the historic glassmaker from Murano, B.F. Signoretti.

The starting gun of the regatta is scheduled for 13.30 and the base of the fleet will be Santelena Marina while the San Marco basin, the focal point of the route, will allow the public on the banks to observe this spectacular competition in the setting of the world’s most beautiful city. Prizes will be presented at the Zattere promenade at the VYP Venice Yacht Pier in direct contact with the citizens.

The Venice Hospitality Challenge 2018 is supported by the High Patronage of the Municipality of Venice,
