The best of Fuorisalone Milano 2023

Fuorisalone Milano 2023

Fuorisalone Milano 2023

HotelmyPassion could not miss the Fuorisalone Milano 2023.
Because ‘Hotels speak Design‘!

In conjunction with the Salone del Mobile, all of Milan is vibrantly pervaded by the Design Week which once again this year has access to the spotlight on the creations of established and emerging designers.

Many events are scheduled: parties, presentations or installations that have reinterpreted the spaces of hotels and locations in a festive atmosphere, of collective participation aimed at celebrating creativity.

Not only. The Fuorisalone made it possible to rediscover the beauty of the city’s historic buildings such as Palazzo Broggi, Palazzo Serbelloni, Palazzina Appiani, Palazzo Treves, Palazzo Orsini, Palazzo Bovara and Palazzo Litta and to explore usually inaccessible spaces such as, for example Palazzo Treves, the former locations Slaughterhouse of Porta Vittoria and the Marchiondi Spagliardi Institute, Dropcity.

A success certified by the numbers. In fact, the Fuorisalone.it event guide proposed over 900 events online, told on the site by more than 8,000 images produced by 100 E.reporters, students selected by the Milan Polytechnic.

Since the beginning of the year, the edition has had an audience of more than 550,000 unique users and more than 3.2 million page views.

Here is the best of the Milano 2023 Fuorisalone for HotelmyPassion!

+ Vertical Milan | UNA Esperienze has opened its doors to the Fuori Salone for the first time. The UNA Group flagship hotel in Milan, in fact, hosted a selection of the biggest international brands.

The exclusive terrace on the 4th floor has become a showroom of over 300 square meters signed Furla, connected via the balcony in full “old Milan” style to a high-class VIP Lounge. Furla presented its first Home collection interpreting the brand’s style and aesthetics through home design with furnishings, complements and accessories with unique and distinctive finishes.

+The BRACE collection, a new line of furniture made up of side tables, coffee tables and bookcases. It is a collaboration born from the lucky encounter between the Takeda Katsuya Design studio based in Milan and the company “Tatehiko” based in the Japanese city of Ashikaga.

The BRACE collection is the result of Tatehiko’s consolidated local mastery, handed down for three generations in which the philosophy of enhancing and using local resources in a sustainable way is the basis of their production process.

+Lexus unveiled the “Shaped by Air” installation by Suchi Reddy. It was an elegant and light work of art, an expression of sustainability, innovation and excellence. It also celebrated the brand’s shared commitment to human-centered, zero-emissions, forward-thinking design.

The work was a scale interpretation of the Lexus Electrified Sport. It was shaped by light and with vibrant green leaf shapes that suggested movement through nature.

+nhow Milano hosted a group exhibition hub35 by nhow Milano. The event spread throughout the various spaces of the structure has once again transformed the chameleon-like hotel into a large museum of contemporary art.

The unconventional hotel has become a laboratory of urban regeneration in which innovation, sustainable design and creativity have had great space.

The exhibitors were:

  • Perdormire – In the hotel lounge, the brand exhibited the new limited edition Selfie bed, conceived and created in collaboration with Studio Fabio Novembre.
  • Zona Living – The brand presented unprecedented collections of design furniture, with clean and minimalist lines and made of precious and functional materials. Numerous new proposals also for the outdoor area.

+The new “Design Connection” created by Qeeboo – an Italian design brand founded by Stefano Giovannoni – and Campari Soda – an iconic aperitif brand.

The unprecedented collaboration has given life to 4 creations, the result of the union of apparently different and distant objects. That is, the Giraffe In Love and Sweet Brother Tom lamps, the Turtle Carry Drinks vase/glacette holder, and the iconic Rabbit. The design objects were presented with an event inside the Qeeboo Milan Store.

+The installation “The Sea Deck”, designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi for Azimut Yachts, caused a sensation at the Darsena. Conceived as a floating promenade, it gave the city an unexpected experience of its ancient waterways. It also offered visitors the possibility of a new point of view to enjoy the water from a unique perspective, near Leonardo da Vinci’s historic canal.

For its construction, sustainable and recyclable materials have been used. For example, the flooring was created with 2 million recycled and ground cork bottle caps. They will then be transformed again into insulating material for architecture.

+At Palazzo Litta Starhotels presented the CLORIS table collection and the PHOENIX fragrance diffuser. The creations have the signature of the designer Sara Ricciardi, Art Director of the project La Grande Bellezza – The Dream Factory by Starhotels.

With a scenographic installation in the Sala Esedra, the Starhotels initiative for the high Italian know-how showed the world the products of a happy partnership between culture and great craftsmanship.

+During Milan Design Week 2023 Camparino in Galleria, the historic Milanese venue overlooking Piazza Duomo, together with Galleria Campari, a museum dedicated to the brand, joined forces for the second consecutive year in an exhibition dedicated to the creations of the artist Fortunato Depero.

In fact the windows of the Camparino in the Galleria, thanks to the contribution and synergy with Galleria Campari, hosted a selection of works inspired by the production of the famous artist.

+The gym directly in the rooms, to offer guests of the Savona 18 Suites a unique fitness experience, without giving up their relaxation and privacy. This is the novelty that the hotel chain Blu Hotels announced at the FuoriSalone.
