Fuochi d’artificio di Capodanno da record a Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah

The Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah is preparing to welcome the new year with a fantastic display of fireworks and drones with two new Guinness world record attempts. An unmissable show. A spectacular performance inspired by natural wonders

It will be a truly memorable New Year’s Eve that will be celebrated in Ras Al Khaimah. In fact, the sky of the Emirate will be festively lit up by a fireworks display.

The show will feature new choreography and innovative techniques never attempted before. The show will last 8 minutes and will develop along 4.5 km of coast. That is from Al Marjan Island to Al Hamra Village.

Furthermore, the show will include a sort of pyrotechnic “carpet” on the water, LED drones and fireworks. All choreographed to music composed specifically for this event.

Fireworks and drones will light up the sky in a spectacular display inspired by the natural wonders and topography of Ras Al Khaimah – sea, desert and mountains – with the aim of attempting 2 new records. That is, “the longest chain of floating fireworks” and “the longest online drone display“.

With over 50,000 spectators expected, there will be 2 events available to watch the fireworks.

A free access music festival open to the public and the paid event SoundFest. The public event includes a fireworks viewing area, children’s activities, food trucks and live entertainment.

Instead, for those who want a more exclusive experience, it is possible to purchase tickets for the SoundFest event on the platinumlist platform at the price of 300 AED per person.

SoundFest will offer a world-class visual and musical experience, with a host of sensational bands from around the world including a U2 tribute band from the UK, Code Masr for an Egyptian rock fusion, RainaEg with Raï music from North Africa and the Arabic indie pop-rock vibes of Dabbet Namla.

And to end the evening in style, the music of DJ BIA.
