The 47th edition of Hospitality, the leading international fair in Italy dedicated to Ho.Re.Ca operators, will take place in Riva del Garda from 6 to 9 February. Hospitality 2023 will be an unmissable appointment, full of exclusive proposals and contents on the theme of open-air tourism with
the entire pavilion A2 dedicated to the outdoors

Count down for Hospitality 2023, the fair dedicated to Ho.Re.Ca operators organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi.

With an exhibition area of over 40,000 square meters, the event is the most complete in Italy, with a vast training program and a large audience of companies and professionals.

The areas of Hospitality 2023 are: Contract&Wellness, Renovation&Tech, Food&Equipment and Beverage and the special areas Solobirra, Riva Pianeta Mixology and Winescape.

Furthermore, this year’s edition makes a decisive upgrade with a focus on outdoor tourism. In fact, underlines Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager of Hospitality: “Open-air tourism has proved to be one of by far the liveliest and most reactive segments of the entire Italian hospitality supply chain.

The 2022 season saw a growth of 8%, with a demand that with 10.7 million arrivals and over 73 million presences exceeded the levels of 2019, confirming the great interest of an ever-increasing number of tourists, in particular to the younger generation”.

In addition to the presence of companies, suppliers and partners in the sector – from glamping to wood houses between nature and sport – thanks to the agreement signed with FAITA FederCamping, this year the event comes alive with a schedule of appointments on open-air hospitality with focus on lake and mountain.

Hospitality 2023 appointments
The hub of the outdoor tourism events will be the Outdoor Boom Arena in pavilion A2.

In fact, it will open on Monday 6 February at 15:00 with an in-depth analysis on “Evolution of the Concept of Comfort: improving the perception of quality in the hospitality sector“, with the participation of Leopoldo Busa, founder of Biosafe.

At 11:00 on Tuesday 7 February Roberto Vitali, founder of Village for All-V4A and accessibility expert, will illustrate the potential of inclusive open-air tourism with the speech “Demographic change and accessible tourism”. Overcoming accessibility laws : new customers, new economic opportunities”.

On 7 February at 3.30 pm, the main stage of the Theater (pavilion D) will continue with the speech by Oskar Schwazer, director of APT Garda Dolomiti dedicated to “Outdoor systems: 2.0 management of the Outdoor infrastructure in Garda Trentino“.

It will be an interesting case history for those who are implementing or creating their own open-air hospitality offer.

Focus on digitization and sustainability in the appointment curated by Cristian Capizzi of Koobcamp and Raffaele Meloni of BHI which will be held on Wednesday 8 February at 11:00.

While at 2.00 pm new ideas and solutions for glamping will be at the center of the talk “GARDAPASSION: Punto | Words | Reflections| Trends | Inspirations”. Organized by Crippaconcept, it will bring the example of what has been done in an area with a strong tourist vocation and which has always known how to experiment. That is, Lake Garda.

In the afternoon the activity will move back to the Theater (pavilion D) for one of the most awaited meetings. That is, the round table “Open air tourism in Italy. Trends and perspectives“.

During the round table, the sector study on lake and mountain camping clusters will be presented.

The debate, moderated by Alberto Mattiello, will be animated by contributions from Alberto Granzotto, national president of Faita, Fabio Poletti, president of Faita Trentino, Roberto Failoni, Councilor for Tourism of the Province of Trento. And also Mauro Santinato, CEO of Teamwork, Giorgio Ribaudo and Andrea Agazzani, of Thrends.

Thursday, February 9, the last event of the Outdoor Boom Arena is scheduled at 11:00. “Facebook & Google Ads, the 2 big competitors leveraged for your Camping Village”. In fact, it will be dedicated to new strategies and web projects to make en plein air structures competitive.
