New 2024 Marriott International Hotels and Resorts

2024
Having reached its 500th luxury hotel milestone, Marriott International expands its global luxury presence to the world’s most remote locations in 2024. And launches the trend of nu-luxury, destinations that push all limits and combine guests’ desires for authenticity, adventure and exclusivity
Even in the year that has just begun, Marriott continues to expand beyond the boundaries of experiential travel. Indeed he is rewriting the future of luxury and offering the transformative power of cultural discovery.
All with an unrivaled portfolio of luxury hotel brands, such as The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels, The Luxury Collection, EDITION, JW Marriott and Bulgari Hotels & Resorts.
There are now more than 200 hotels and resorts in Marriott International’s luxury portfolio in development globally, including 24 properties set to open this year.
The nu-luxury trend
Jenni Benzaquen, Senior Vice President of The Ritz-Carlton and St. Regis Hotel & Resorts, explains: “We are expanding our portfolio towards what we have defined as ‘nu-luxury boundaries’. That is, destinations that push boundaries and combine desires of guests for authenticity, adventure and exclusivity.
We are constantly moving forward to deliver transformative experiences, which remain in the memories of every traveler. While the demand to rediscover  luxury destinations has increased in 2023, we now predict that travelers will focus on new destinations, ethical and responsible escapes, focusing on the desire to support social practices, so that travel remains sustainable for generations to come come”.
The new openings of 2024
The Ritz-Carlton will celebrate the expansion of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, with the debut of the second newbuild superyacht, Ilma. Expected for the second half of 2024.
