Bibione is the first inclusive tourist destination in Italy thanks to the Destination4All project

Bibione, one of the top maritime destinations in Veneto, is the most inclusive in Italy: this important result was presented during the TTG in Rimini, the most important international event dedicated to the world of hospitality.

Giuliana Basso, president of Bibione Live – Tourist Promotion Consortium, told an audience of experienced destination management professionals, how the evolution of tourism demand is driven by the emergence of new targets in our society and how this is moving more and more often the attention from the accessible room to the tourist destination for all.

Destination4All is the project that Bibione has been carrying out for three years with the professional support of Village for all and has brought the destination to success.

Senior and Disability are emerging segments in the world of tourism demand, without forgetting Family and Allergy-Free; these require comfort and hospitality, in addition to the “due” respect for the rules on architectural barriers.

To meet these needs, destinations and tourist systems are needed that are able to create proposals and have adequate services, to offer a “Guest Experience for All” with competence and professionalism.

Destination4All was a challenge that was able to involve the entire tourism supply chain at the local level – and beyond – by developing a path of analysis of the destination, of the tourism products present in the area and of how they positioned themselves in the accessible hospitality segment.

For this reason, innovative services have been created, with a focus on improving the quality of the offer to all its customers.

Knowing how to communicate with the right words, knowing how to intervene by offering the right solution, knowing better the needs of these targets, has made it possible to acquire an awareness and professionalism that first of all gratifies tourism companies and their collaborators, but which is also very good for corporate business.

Roberto Vitali, CEO of Village for all – a tourism innovation company that was the first in Italy to create a network of over 80 accommodation facilities that today offer accessible hospitality – illustrated the values associated with the project that are the basis of all the work done, and the regulations to which tourist destinations, consortia and public administrations must comply if they want to tackle the path of acquiring the Destination4All brand.
