Blu Hotels turns 30. Three decades of non-stop growth celebrated in Gallipoli, in the Cathedrals of Almifi, in the presence of numerous guests from all over Italy and local institutions.
And the Cavaliere del Lavoro Nicola Risatti, President of the Group, has reasons to celebrate. In fact, the summer of 2023 recorded a turnover even higher than the pre-Covid one.
It was 1993 when Nicola Risatti, with his cousin Fabrizio Piantoni, Vice President, decided to found Blu Hotels. In the year in which it turns thirty, the chain sees the number of structures increase to 30. They are all 4-star hotels and villages for a total of over 3,000 rooms in renowned tourist locations by the sea, in the mountains and on the lakes.
During the evening, Risatti recalled the Covid period from which the Group emerged strengthened, reaching important goals. These include the entry into the company, first on the Board of Directors and then on the staff, of his sons, Mattia and Oliver.
Development and new acquisitions
New acquisitions are expected in the near future. Furthermore, renovations will continue. And the IT part will be updated to keep up with competitors.
Cavaliere Risatti underlines: “But the most important challenge will be to return to the loyalty of hotel staff, regaining the trust we had before Covid.
We must give them back that desire and enthusiasm to return to work that the pandemic has caused them to lose somewhat, aware that the fortune of our company is linked to our customers, but also to those who allow us to provide a service that is always height of expectations.”
