Piazza di Spagna View was created in 2012 bringing the immediate advantage of a simple and powerful brand, because Piazza di Spagna at the bottom of the Spanish Steps is famous throughout the world: it is one of the most mentioned Italian places in the media, evoking holidays, beauty and joie-de-vivre.
It has amassed a collection of prestigious hotels, catering to a sophisticated and high-profile clientele.
Founder and head of the group Mauro Piccini, a long-established hotel owner and operator, has returned to the fray with Piazza di Spagna View after a long stint managing the hotel division of Alpitour, and then the entire group.
Piccini is joined by Andrea Marcelloni, with whom he previously founded Alta Marea, the group that was subsequently taken over by Alpitour. 
To date the group has nine structures with differing vocations – from boutique hotels to 5-star palaces, to guest houses – targeting leisure and business travellers and the MICE sector, in the 4-star to luxury categories.
The group’s Hotels are found in key strategic locations: Rome, Courmayeur, Tuscany, Villasimius – Sardinia, Monopoli  and Bari in Apulia.
