Comwell Hotels
Comwell Hotels is a Danish hotel chain with hotels in Denmark and Sweden. Comwell was the first to introduce Danes to a meeting concept in 1969 under the name Scanticon, and in 1992, Comwell opened its first spa hotel in Denmark. Comwell operates a total of 16 hotels in Denmark, 2 hotels in Sweden, as well as ODEON in Odense, and Centralværkstedet and Smedien in Aarhus.
The group is based in Denmark and primarily owned by Nic Christiansen Invest.
Sustainability, the green transition and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals have become permanent guests in the high-consumption hotel industry. Comwell has been working to incorporate sustainability across the entire value chain at all their hotels and venues since 2015. This includes efforts related to organic food labels, food waste, recyclability, consumption of electricity, water and heating, good working conditions and product development in collaboration with its suppliers.
