Marriott International announces the Sheraton Milan San Siro, which is set to open in 2019, reinforcing the company’s growth in Italy and brand’s presence in Milan with 3 properties including Sheraton Milan Malpensa and Sheraton Diana Majestic. Owned by International Hotel Investors, this opening will mark the debut of a new Sheraton property in a top destination with distinguished design, excellence in service and guest experiences.

Located in the residential San Siro district of Milan, an oasis surrounded by extensive green parks and entertaining facilities, the hotel will be perfectly positioned to capitalize on the large meeting and exhibition centres in the surrounding area including MiCo Milano Conference Center, the largest convention center in Europe, Fiera Milano and Fiera Milano City. Arexpo, site of the 2015 World Expo soon to become the site of Science, Technology & Innovation Park and CityLife, the new emerging residential and shopping district, are also close by. The hotel is adjacent to Caldera Park district, 110.000 sqm of business offices, and a three-minute drive to San Siro stadium, home of Inter Milan and AC Milan football clubs. Sheraton Milan San Siro is conveniently connected to Milan’s airports and motorway, as well as to the finance and fashion districts.

The Interior Design project is curated by Chiara Caberlon of the Milan based CaberlonCaroppi Italian Touch Architects, who has designed more than 130 hotels including 50 international branded ones. Her strong Italian roots are always reflected in the aesthetics of her projects. The Sheraton Milan San Siro design has been developed based on the urban resort contest of the hotel combined with the customized furnishings, inspired by Milan architectural elements and colour palette.

The hotel will feature 310 guest rooms, including 25 suites and a Presidential Suite. Guests will enjoy all of the Sheraton brand signature experiences and amenities including the Sheraton Club Lounge with 106 Club rooms and suites, the 450 sqm SPA and the state-of-the-art Sheraton Fitness center and a Crew Lounge. The hotel offers guests a private garden with an outdoor swimming pool as well as a children’s pool and a kid’s playground. Guests will also enjoy an all-day dining bar and restaurant featuring an Italian organic cuisine and grill concept with an outdoor Portico, a terrace garden and a pool bar. The extensive conference and banqueting facilities will boast a total of 2.000 sqm of function area with day light and outdoor space including 2 ballrooms without columns, able to host up to 500 guests each. The hotel also features a private parking able to welcome 170 cars, ideal for business travelers.
